APS Board of Education Candidate Information

Filing Day is Dec. 16; Election set Feb. 3

Voters in the Albuquerque Public Schools district will go to the polls in February to elect board of education representatives in districts 1, 2 and 4.

The filing date for candidates is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, in the Bernalillo County clerk’s office.

The school election will be held Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.

The district 1 seat, which includes the south valley area of Albuquerque, is currently held by Dr. Analee Maestas.

The district 2 seat, which includes the northwest area and Corrales in Sandoval County, is currently held by Kathy Korte.

The district 4 seat, which includes the area west of University Boulevard to Eubank and the area south of I-40, is currently held by Martin Esquivel.
