Classes to start Aug. 13 and end May 22.

January 5, 2012

The 2012-2013 school year will begin on Monday, Aug. 13, for most APS students. The last day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, May 22.

Teachers and school staff will return on Tuesday, Aug. 7, for student registration, training and preparation.

The 2012-2013 school year includes a one-day fall break, a three-day Thanksgiving break, a two-week winter break and a week-long spring break. Schools also will be closed for Labor Day, Election Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day and the Vernal Holiday.
