Energy Savings
M&O has adopted many energy saving programs that not only save on precious natural resources, but also reduce the District’s utility costs dramatically. These include purchasing natural gas to provide winter heating in schools saving $1.2 million from the open market. Participating in four PNM rebate and reward programs has returned $145,325 in electric costs to APS thus far.
