Empowering Field Technicians

M&O department managers have empowered field technicians to make decisions that lessen future work demands. Previously, work orders directed all repairs. Now when a technician sees relatively minor needed adjustments, fixes, or painting, he addresses it on the spot. Work orders filed by schools are no longer necessary to complete work. The unscheduled PM work saves another trip to the site at a later date, as well as the time to issue and track a work order.
