Technology

The APS Technology Service Desk can assist staff and teachers with all their technology needs, including:

  • Creating and managing passwords for many district systems (e.g., Lawson, SchoolMax, email)
  • Troubleshooting computer hardware
  • Troubleshooting software problems
  • Answering questions about district applications
  • Network connections

School Technology Coordinator

Many schools have Technology Coordinators to assist teachers, staff, and students with instruction, training, integration, and implementation of technology in the classroom.

The Technology Coordinators are trained to:

  • Offer technology support to computer labs, classrooms, and offices
  • Define school equipment and peripherals
  • Purchase technology equipment
  • Purchase software
  • Manage school software licensing
  • Install and configure school computers
  • Consult with teaching staff on the selection of teaching applications
