2015 Summer Cultural Enrichment Program

June 2015 Indian Education Department Cultural Enrichment Program.

Registration will begin on April 13, 2015 for eligible Native American students in grades K-12 who are currently enrolled in the APS schools.  Students must have a 506 Form and a Certificate of Indian Blood on file to participate in this program.  The program will be in session from June 1 to June 30, 2015 from 8:00am to 12:00pm Monday to Friday. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day for students.   Registration will take place at the Indian Education Department, 6400 Uptown Blvd NE, Suite 460W from 8:30am to 4:00pm.  Contact Elizabeth Trujillo at 505-884-6392 for any questions.  Courses offered will include:  Zuni Language, Navajo Language, Native Foods and Native Plants, Pottery Making, Dream Catchers and Art classes.  No Transportation will be provided.  The program will be held at John Adams Middle School located at 5401 Glenrio Road NW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
