2014 Summer Cultural Enrichment Program
Registration will begin March 24, 2014 for eligible Native American Students in grades K-12 who are currently enrolled in APS. The program will begin June 2 through June 30, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Monday through Friday. Location: John Adams Middle School 5401 Glenrio Road NW
College Connection Day for Native American Students is Sept. 28
The Indian Education Department has scheduled its 2013 College Connection Day from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the APS administration building, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE.
Navajo Nation Clothing Applications Are Due September 19, 2013
Applications are being accepted for Albuquerque Public School's Navajo Nation students, ages 3-13. Students must be enrolled with the Navajo Tribe. Call the Indian Education Department at (505) 884-6392 for more information.

The district is looking for special ed, math, science and bilingual teachers; school nurses and counselors; truancy social workers; custodians; and substitute teachers.
APS Pledges to Improve Achievement of Young Men of Color
Albuquerque Public Schools is one of 60 districts from across the nation participating in the White House initiative.
APS Gives School Supplies to 1,850 Students
Volunteers including UNM student athletes handed out the supplies to kids in need.
