AIMS: Educator Development (PD Planner)

The APS Instructional Management System includes a module named Educator Development (PD Planner). This module contains a comprehensive professional development resource center.

Register for an Activity

Cancel a Registration

Create a Course

1. Using a web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari, visit https://aims.schoolnet.com

2. Enter your Logon Information

  • Account is APS Logon
  • Username is the letter e + your 6 digit employee ID number, like this : e012345
  • Password is the password you use to access your email account

3. If you forgot your password or you need to change it go to http://pwreset.aps.edu/ . For other problems or issues call the Service Desk at 830-8080.

 

How do I register for an activity?

1. Click on the Educator Development tab.

2. Type keywords in the PD Search box and click GO. (You can also leave the search box blank and click View the entire catalog)

3. Scroll down to view activities that are open for enrollment.

4. Click activity title. This will show you more details about the activity and allow you register for a section.

5. Available Sections will appear in the right column.

6. Click Register for the desired section.

7. If the activity is full, then it may allow you to Add me to the Wait list.

    • You will receive an email confirmation if you are moved off the wait list.
    • You cannot be on multiple wait lists for the same activity.

How do I cancel a registration?

*You can only register for one Section of an Activity. You must Cancel a Registration before you can register in a different Section of an Activity.

  1. Click on the Educator Development tab.
  2. Look for the course you would like to cancel under My Upcoming Activities.
    • You will see the title listed multiple times if the course meets more than once.
  3. Click on the title of the course.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click on the button Cancel My Registration.
  5. Type the reason you are deleting/canceling your registration.
  6. Click Delete.

Can I create course in the district PD catalog?

Training is available for individuals that conduct district-wide Professional Development activities.
