1. Using a web browser like Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari, visit https://aims.schoolnet.com
2. Enter your Logon Information
- Account is APS Logon
- Username is the letter e + your 6 digit employee ID number, like this : e012345
- Password is the password you use to access your email account
3. If you forgot your password or you need to change it go to http://pwreset.aps.edu/ . For other problems or issues call the Service Desk at 830-8080.
How do I register for an activity using the title of the course?
- Move your cursor over the Educator Development heading. Click on PD Search.
- Type keywords or part of the title in the PD Search box and click the magnifying glass icon.
- Scroll down to view activities that are open for enrollment.
- Find the activity title.
- Click on Show Sections. This will show you the sections available for this activity. Check the listing to make sure your desired section is open for registration.
- Click on the title to link to the desired section.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on Register
- If the activity is full, then it may allow you to Add me to the Wait list.
- You will receive an email confirmation if you are moved off the wait list.
- You cannot be on multiple wait lists for the same activity.
How do I register for an activity by date?
- Move your cursor over the Educator Development heading. Click on PD Search.
- Leave the search box blank and click on the Calendar option under the search box.
- Look for the title of the course. Some dates have multiple listings, click on the +more to see all the trainings for that date.
- Click on the desired activity title.
- Review the available Sections in the right hand column. This will show you the sections available for this activity. Check the listing to make sure your desired section is open for registration.
- If a Section has available spaces then it will have a Register button underneath the listing. Click on Register.
- If the activity is full, then it may allow you to Add me to the Wait list.
- You will receive an email confirmation if you are moved off the wait list.
- You cannot be on multiple wait lists for the same activity.
How do I cancel a registration?
*You can only register for one Section of an Activity. You must Cancel a Registration before you can register in a different Section of an Activity.
- Move your cursor over the Educator Development tab. Click on My PD Profile.
- Look for the course you would like to cancel under Activities.
- Click on the title of the course.
- Scroll to the bottom and click on the button Cancel My Registration.
- Type the reason you are deleting/canceling your registration.
- Click Delete.
How do I print a certificate for a course I have completed?
- Hover on the Educator Development tab
- Click on My PD Profile
- Click on the tab titled Activities
- Look for the desired course
- Click on "View Certificate" for that course. This will ONLY appear if the attendance has been submitted for Final Credit. If it does not appear, contact the individual who conducted the training.
Can I create course in the district PD catalog?
Training is available for individuals that conduct district-wide Professional Development activities.
