This online resource for APS Teachers and Staff is provided by the APS Human Resources and Technology Departments. There are dozens of courses available to you that will improve your skills and productivity. From Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint training to Assertiveness and Leadership courses, you’ll find many topics that will help you in the classroom and at home. APS OnlineExpert is easy to use and features video of recognized experts that make learning fun and effective.
APS employees must follow the standards outlined in Federal Laws, State Laws, Board Policies, and Administrative Procedural Directives. This online course required for all employees contains a number of trainings. You must complete the trainings required for the type of work you do. The course will be available to you after you officially start working. The course shall be completed annually.
- Trainings for the 2016-17 school year will be available to current employees on August 1, 2016
- The course must be completed by November 1, 2016. (Anyone hired or coming back from leave after September 1, 2016 will have 40 working days to complete the course.)
ERO: Electronic Registrar Online is a Professional Development course registration system. The system tracks the entire staff development process: registration, attendance, reporting, etc.
APS promotes continued learning and development of it’s employees by offering tuition reimbursement for appropriate coursework.
