Final Steps
Once you have passed the background check you will be asked to bring in your completed paperwork. Carefully review the information listed below. You will be required to complete certain tasks based upon your position at APS.

After 10 working days, return to Background and Fingerprinting to obtain background results. You may contact us at 889-4864 with questions or concerns.
After you have passed the background check, pick up paperwork for Employee Benefits in office 115E. Employees working 30 hours or more per week are eligible for employee benefits.
Check in with the main receptionist. They will contact your Employee Data Specialist. The specialist will use your completed paperwork to enter your information into the employee data system.

Every APS employee will be assigned an APS email account when they are hired. Employees are expected to use this account for APS related business.
An HR staffer will inform you of your:
- Employee number
- Email account
- Username for your email account
- Temporary Password for your email account

Type the letter "e" and your 6-digit Employee ID in the User name field. Don't put a space between the "e" and your employee ID. If your employee ID has fewer than 6 digits, add leading zeros to make it 6 digits long.
