Holiday Chart "B" Schedule 2018-19

Paid and non-paid holidays for B Schedule 256, 248 and 206 day employees. Revised 2018 Negotiations.

206 Days

Eight Paid Holidays are:  Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New year’s Day, Vernal Holiday  and Memorial Day

Non-Paid Holidays for 206-day employees:  Fall Break in October;  Veteran’s Day in November; Wednesday before Thanksgiving; Winter Break, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day; MLK Day in January;  Presidents’ Day in February;  and the first four days of  Spring Break, except for  Vernal Holiday

248 Days

 Eleven Paid Holidays are:   Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Day before Christmas, Christmas Day, New year’s Day,  Martin Luther King Day,  Presidents’ Day, Vernal Holiday , and Memorial Day

Non-paid Holidays for 248-day employees: Fall Break in October;   Winter Break,  except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day;  First four days of Spring Break in April, except for Friday which is Vernal Holiday

When Schools are Closed, and 248-day Employees are required to work and must request a leave to be off:   Veteran’s Day in November; Wednesday before Thanksgiving.   Any days during the two-week Winter Break, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

256  Days
