457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan

The State of New Mexico 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan (Plan) is a voluntary, pre-tax and tax-deferred retirement plan to supplement your ERA/PERA retirement benefits.  The Plan is an affordable and convenient way to invest for your retirement.  Contributions are payroll deducted and automatically invested within 48 hours in the investment options you select. You may enroll, change your deferral amount, and/or investment options at any time. The minimum contribution to the Plan is $260 per year or $10 per pay period. You may even rollover an eligible 403(b), 401(k), or IRA into your 457 Deferred Compensation account. .  A third party administrator  manages the program for APS.  To participate in the program, make changes to existing accounts, or keep your name and address current please contact the State of New Mexico Deferred Compensation Service Center at: 1-866-827-6639 or log onto their website at: www.newmexico457dc.com
