Graphics Enterprise Services (GES)
GES is responsible for the district’s graphic design, and print needs. GES is also responsible for administering the APS brand standards and graphic guidelines. In addition to graphics and printing services, GES also provides quality teaching supplies and student incentives, through the APS classroom store, The Teachers’ ToolBox.
Mission
GES will provide quality products and services in a timely manner for all students and employees of the district, supporting the goals set by the APS Board of Education.

Graphic Design and Printing
Graphic Design Center
With full advertising agency capabilities, the Graphic Design Center has the expertise to provide full or partial design consultation. All materials are developed using the District’s brand standards and graphic guidelines.
Print Center
The Print Center at GES is a fully equipped printing facility capable of handling printing requests up to commercial sized orders. In addition the center provides a full range of bindery and finishing services including coil bindery, folding and full-scale lamination capabilities.
The Print Center works directly with the Graphic Design Center to provide a seamless design and production experience.
Some of the ongoing production and print services provided include, federally mandated student and teacher educational forms, special education materials, food services and cafeteria record keeping forms, SBPRs, behavior handbooks, employee guides and instructional surveys. In addition we print individual forms requested by any school or department including business cards, letterhead and other collateral materials.
Formatting Job for Submission
Any pre-formatted publications should be submitted as a PDF. If GES will be handling the design/formatting portion, materials should be submitted as a Word file. ***
General Formatting Details:
***Do not format texts and colors within the document submitted. All text should be Black and in a plain, easy to read font. Please make sure that the text content is exactly as desired to appear. Clearly denote the order of sections, headings, and paragraph breaks and the appearance of any pictures, graphs, and tables. If a specific layout or design idea is needed, please format only one separate sample page as an example. Design will be formulated from that page. Please send any pictures, graphics or images as separate high-resolution files.
Revision Details:
If your submission is a revision of a previous job, clearly mark any changes on the latest printed version and submit. This method will allow for the quickest processing. If there is a need to add text, please submit an updated Word file of the original job with the additions and their placements clearly marked. A general description of the changes will also speed up processing.

Job Scheduling
GES uses a first-come, first-served methodology for workload management. With a constantly fluid production schedule, GES encourages clients to pre-schedule jobs and requests. Clients can submit partial production information to establish a place in the production queue, and then provide complete information as soon as it is available, in order to meet deadlines.
Plan for the Busy Months
Keep in mind that we are busiest from April through October each year.
For agendas: Work order must be received at GES by April 30th and the additional inside front pages must be submitted no later than May 31 each year.

The final cost of each project is determined using variables including quantity, document structure, printing materials and supplies and finishing services. For quotes and pricing information, email questions to
