Trees, Rocks and Dirt: A Multi-Media Art Show

Volcano Vista High School art students in cooperation with the city of Albuquerque Parks and Recreation Department present a show celebrating Open Space.

Volcano Vista High School art students respond to the value of Open Space lands within their city. A variety of media and interpretations express the dialog these students have with Open Space properties such as the Petroglyph National Monument, West Mesa, Bosque and Sandia Foothills. This show is hosted by the city of Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center.

An opening reception will be help from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. The exhibit will run through Feb. 19.

The Open Space Visitor Center is located at 6500 Coors Blvd. NW between Montaño Road and Paseo del Norte at the end of Bosque Meadows Road. The Center is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and closed Mondays.
