Nex+Gen Academy is holding several open houses over the next few months for students interested in attending the magnet school next year. The school is accepting students from all over Albuquerque in all grades.
Nex+Gen offers a unique teaching and learning system based on the proven national model by the New Tech Network. Students work together collaboratively to solve complex real world problems. Classes are integrated allowing students to make authentic connections between subjects.
Nex+Gen utilizes cutting edge technology in a one-to-one computing environment. Learning at nex+Gen is rigorous, standards-driven and project-based.
An open house/student orientation will be held on Feb. 15, March 1, March 20 and April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the school, 5325 Montgomery NE, behind Del Norte High School.
In addition, the school will host a student showcase for incoming freshmen from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 4.
