"Map Night" is a Family Friendly Night where the parents and community of East San Jose ES come and do Map related games (Bingo, Cake Walk, Scavenge Hunt) they get to use the Promeathian Board to do interactive mapping and build their own globe, color a map, work on Map puzzles, and even build relief maps of the continents.

Each child checks in and receives a passport to go to each of the events and the passport then become a free homework pass for the students. The big part of this event is the writing contest that was started before the winter break. This year the story needs to be about, "My Family Traditions."

The 1st and second place winners will be announced at this event. This event is sponsored by the ESJ ES Science and social Studies Goal Team, Rachel Baucom is the Goal Team Leader for this dynamic group of teachers.

Please remember that East San JoseES is the primer dual language school in APS so these activities will be led in English and Spanish.
