Has spring cleaning left you with a pile of old electronics to discard? Albuquerque Recycling and Los Ranchos Elementary are partnering to provide a community e-cycling event where you can get rid of these items and help your community too!

Albuquerque Recycling will be on site at Los Ranchos from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, to collect your recyclable electronics, with proceeds benefiting the Los Ranchos PTA. The school is located at 7609 4th St. NW (map).

Almost anything electronic will be accepted for the recycling event, however, there are a few exceptions: tube televisions, refrigerators, alkaline batteries or any bio-hazardous medical equipment.
