Think that attending an HBCU is all about the battle of the bands? Well, think again.

While it's true that Historically Black Colleges and Universities have a unique culture that cannot be experienced anywhere else, they also have a history of educational excellence that is equally impressive.

Join us as we showcase all that HBCU's across the country have to offer.

Who: Open to all students

When: Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Where: Albuquerque High School, 800 Odelia Road NE

Participating Colleges & Universities: PVAMU, NCAT, Morgan State,  Bennett College, Hampton, Grambling, Tuskegee, Norfolk State and more

Win a scholarship: Participating students will have a chance to win a scholarship to use towards schooling at the HBCU of their choice. To qualify for the scholarship, students must write an essay on the history of HBCUs and their importance today.
