Come and find out what making music in college is all about in this free hour-long college music seminar. All students are welcome, so come and invite your friends!

The UNM Music Department will discuss what you need to know about studying music in college:

  • Do I want to major in music in college? If so, what are my options?
  • What different degrees are available in music?  
  • What types of careers are available to musicians?
  • What are college music ensembles like?
  • Must I major in music to play in a college music ensemble?
  • What is a college music audition like?
  • What music should I play at an audition?
  • When do I need to start thinking about music auditions for college?
