African American Outreach Initiative on Health Care Professions

The UNM Health Science Center along with APS Black Student Unions and the Ministers Fellowship of Albuquerque are hosting an event to introduce African American students to health care professions.

 The University of New Mexico Health Science Center along with APS Black Student Unions and the Ministers Fellowship of Albuquerque will host an African American Outreach Initiative focusing on health care professions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the APS Administration Building, 6400 Uptown Blvd. NE. The purpose of the event is to introduce African American students to health care professions and also to provide them information on summer mentorship programs in scientific research.
