Steve Alford Pledges His Support

My children attend Albuquerque Public Schools.  I know first-hand the issues that kids and parents face in today’s challenging world.  This is why I support United Way of Central New Mexico - an organization that addresses the needs of our community every single day.

Whether the issue is education, health care or homelessness, to name just a few, United Way is working to make New Mexico a better place.

In the world of coaching, teamwork is everything.  I tell our players that every bit of effort and support we contribute makes all of us stronger. The same holds true outside the Pit.  When we as a community pull together on behalf of children and those in need, New Mexico wins.

I am joining the Board of Education, Superintendent Winston Brooks, and thousands of your colleagues and students when I ask you to support United Way of Central New Mexico.  All we need is you.

Sincerely,
Steve Alford Pledges his Support
