Student of the Week Tony C. Henry

4th grader at Tierra Antigua Elementary School

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What Tony's mom says about him: Tony is genuine in spirit and he wants to impact his community through advancement in science and technology.

What Tony's teacher says about him: Tony is an amazing student who is empathetic to others around him.  He is helpful and kind. He also has an amazing ability analyzing math problems and coming up with a solution.  He is an avid reader.

 Favorite subject: Tony says he likes a lot of thing in school. "I cannot think of only one."

Hobbies and activities: Tony likes inventing and he is an active participant of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). He also likes being with his dad fixing computers and other electronics and with his mom in her class. Tony plays basketball.
