Student of the Week: Valeria Rojas

Congratulations to Valeria Rojas, a 5th grader at Barcelona Elementary School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Valeria:

Valeria is a bright student, who always pushes herself to do her best 100% of the time. She is helpful to her peers and she is a good example of what an excellent student is. Valeria has always set the bar very high academically. She is a good friend to her classmates and loves learning with them every day.

Favorite subject:

Math is Valeria’s favorite subject. "She is extremely helpful to her peers when we are working on math," according to her teacher.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Valeria likes to swim and read. She likes to spend time with her friends. She loves to color. When she has free time she likes to watch TV.
