Student of the Week: Shelyse Ramirez

Congratulations to Shelyse Ramirez , a fifth grader at Dolores Gonzales Elementary, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?

Shelyse works very hard in class.  She is self- motivated and gives more than 100% commitment in all she does.  She loves to learn new concepts in school.


What’s this student’s favorite subject?

Shelyse loves science and considers science her favorite subject.

What are this student’s hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

Shelyse enjoys singing and dancing.  She likes youth leadership at Dolores Gonzales ES, and plans on running for president of the youth leadership.
