Congratulations to Ramona Vigil, a fourth grader at Los Padillas ES, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?
Ramona is a very focused and self motivated student. She is always on task, a very creative thinker and an excellent problem solver. Ramona is a model student and has shown strong academic growth. She exhibits care and concern for other students. She is a respected student as evidenced by her active involvement in the school’s Student Council. Ramona dreams of being a paleontologist and inventor later in life.

Ramona excels in and loves reading.  

What are Ramona’s favorite hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

Ramona loves arts and crafts.
