Student of the Week: Noah Mikaelian

Student at APS Transition Services

Congratulations to Noah Mikaelian, a student in APS Transition Services, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

Tell us a little about your school experience:
I really enjoyed my school experience at APS. Attending Eldorado High School was probably the most fun and beneficial to my academic experience. It really helped prepare me for the next step to adulthood and get me ready to attend the access program with Transition Services.

What’s your favorite course?
My favorite subject going through school has always been math. I really like the challenge working with numbers.

What is your favorite part of attending Transition Services?
I like the fact that we work a lot on improving our job skills. Primarily practicing our interview skills, social skills in the workplace and organizational skills with regard to everyday life.
