Students in the LWES gifted program read the Jules Verne classic and prepared a global experience to be shared by the entire school. The multi-disciplinary project-based experience included reading and discussing the novel and researching places Phineas Fogg and Passepartout visited on their 1872 journey.

Michelle is an energetic, kind, and hardworking student who loves school. She takes pride in giving her best in all she does, and she is always available to help a friend in need. Her positive attitude toward learning makes her an excellent model for other students to follow.

Favorite subject:

Michelle’s favorite subject is math because she finds it easy and likes playing with numbers and shapes.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

In school Michelle likes doing science experiments with her class, playing basketball and tag, and talking with her friends. Out of school, Michelle enjoys reading, studying, babysitting, spending time with her sister, and having sleepovers with her friends.
