Student of the Week: Mercedes Hall

Congratulations to Mercedes Hall, a fifth grader at Navajo Elementary, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?

Mercedes is a hard worker. She tries her best and she strives for excellence even when things are difficult for her. Mercedes is friendly and outgoing and she always has a smile on her face.

What’s this student’s favorite subject? Mercedes' favorite subject is math.

What are this student’s hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

Mercedes is involved in gymnastics and has competed at the national level. She is currently a member of Albuquerque Tumbling and Trampoline. Mercedes enjoys working with younger children and she loves animals.
