Student of the Week: Meadow Weidner

Congratulations to Meadow Weidner, a second grader at Inez Elementary School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?

Meadow is an outstanding student. She is bright, honest, caring, passionate, inquisitive, and enthusiastic. Meadow has a passion for ongoing learning and always pushes herself to do more, while taking extreme care in her work. She has an exceptional compassion for others, and not only offers others support by helping peers to understand a topic but encouraging them to keep going. There is not a day that she does not have a smile on her face, as she walks around brightening the day of others. She is an excellent role model to other students and thoroughly enjoys following the rules. It is a great privilege to have her in my class.

Science and Math

What are this student’s hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?
Meadow and her dad Jeremy enjoy building things. Meadow also enjoys exercising, listening to music and reading chapter books.
