Student of the Week Liliana Villanueva

Fourth grader at Duranes Elementary School

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What Lilliana’s teacher says about her: “Liliana is a vivacious girl who loves to sing and dance. She has many friends and enjoys great family support. I'm pleased to have her in my class because she shows many leadership qualities, in fact, she is the head student of our school chorus. She always completes her homework and contributes to classrooms discussions. In general, Liliana prefers studying, performing and creating anything to do with the arts, however, when it comes to more common subjects such as mathematics and language arts she does just fine.

Favorite subjects: Math and reading

Hobbies and activities: Lily's hobbies at school are singing with the chorus and outside of school, she loves soccer and karate. Lily is an orange belt and needs six more belts to be a black belt.
