Student of the Week Libni Perez

A senior at College and Career High School.

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

Libni’s school experience: I started at CCHS my sophomore year without having any idea where my educational path would go. I was excited to be the first generation in my family to attend college and finish high school at the same time. To be honest, this long journey was not easy. Attending college and finishing high school required maximum effort from my part as well as patience. I have endured many successes and failures in these past three years at College and Career High School and now that I am reaching what feels like the end I know that all my efforts were all worth it.

Favorite course: My favorite general course at the moment is science, more specifically my biology and fundamental classes for nursing. I find these classes so interesting and insightful to worldwide concepts making each day a fun learning experience.

Plans for the future? I really appreciate my current education because I view it as a stepping-stone to my future plans of helping others in both physical and spiritual ways.
