Student of the Week: Leslie Arellanes

Fifth grade at Armijo Elementary School.

Congratulations to Leslie Arellanes, a fifth grader at Armijo ES, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?
Leslie is extremely respectful. In addition, she is very insightful and thinks deeply about topics.

What’s this student’s favorite subject?
I like science because when I grow up I want to be a meteorologist.  My favorite part of the news is the weather. I also became interested in meteorology when Byron Morton visited our class.
