Student of the Week: Kassidy Steckbeck

Congratulations to Kassidy Steckbeck, 8th grader at LBJ Middle School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Kassidy:

Kassidy has been at LBJ for all 3 years of her middle school career. During this time, she has made lots of friends, participated in National Honor Society and Character Counts.

Favorite subject:

English is her favorite subject, because she loves reading, writing and being creative.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Kassidy enjoys volunteering at the Watermelon Ranch Animal Shelter, participating in her church’s youth group, being outside, swimming, and art.
