Student of the Week: Joshua (Jace) Torrez

Congratulations to Jace Torrez, an 8th grader at Kennedy Middle School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Jace:

Jace’s teachers all recognize him as a responsible and dependable young man. He is well-liked by his peers, and is considered a leader among them. Jace loves going to school and rarely misses a day.

Favorite subject:

Jace’s favorite subjects are math because he loves working with numbers and science because of the experiments.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Jace is a gifted guitar player and singer, plays in after-school athletics and is consistently on the Honor Roll. His favorite teams are the Denver Broncos and the New York Yankees.
