Student of the Week Jasmine Maokhamphiou

7th grader at Madison Middle School

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What the Madison staff says about Jasmine: She’s a dream student with a great attitude, a wonderful person who is well behaved, always goes above and beyond, works well in groups with her peers, is very articulate, has perfect attendance and has made the honor roll with a 4.0 GPA.

What Jasmine says: “My school experience has been very influential and impactful. Along my journey I have discovered new careers and skills that would be applied to my future.”

Favorite subject: Art

Hobbies and activities: Arts and crafts, including sketching and water colors, and reading. At school, she is a part of the yearbook and drama club. “Yearbook, to me, is important in helping to create a book of memories for all the students at my school.”
