Student of the Week: Ida Grace Kelly

Congratulations to Ida Grace Kelly, a kindergartener at Chamiza Elementary School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Ida:

Ida is a wonderful and bright student. She takes great pride in every piece of work she does. Her attention to detail is truly amazing given her age. The quality of her work is exemplary. She accepts constructive suggestions and implements the changes. Ida is kind and helpful in the classroom as well.

Favorite subject:

Ida does well in all subject areas, but seems to excel in language arts. She is spelling and writing, and eager to begin reading.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Ida loves to color and do art at school. She practices her writing continually, striving for perfection.
