Student of the Week: Hannah Smith

Congratulations to Hannah Smith, a 6th grader at Tony Hillerman Middle School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

Tell us a little about your school experience:

At first I didn’t want to come to school because I didn’t know anybody, because I went to a different school, but people are nice. My experience has been good. I haven’t been here for so long so I don’t know much but my experience has been awesome! My friends and my teachers and all their support mean so much to me.

What’s your favorite subject?

Language arts because I love to read and write. When I read I imagine what it looks like. Also I like to predict what’s going to happen next.

What are your hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

Hanging out with friends, doing gymnastics, going to amusement parks, traveling, eating, shopping and sleeping.
