Student of the Week: Gracelyn Stubbs

Congratulations to Gracelyn Stubbs, a seventh grader at Hoover Middle School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

Tell us a little about your school experience:
I like to go to school to be with my friends, and I work hard to get good grades.

What’s your favorite subject?
I don’t have a favorite subject because I have great teachers who push me to do my best and make me work hard.

What are your hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?
Outside of school, my faith and my family are very important to me.  At school, I am on the volleyball team, play flute in the band, and I am on Student Council.
