Student of the Week Gia Sierra

2nd grader at Alvarado Elementary School

Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, highlights an APS student each week.

What Gia’s teacher says about her: Gia is kind, helpful and hardworking. She approaches every task with enthusiasm and a good attitude. She is always determined to do her best. In addition to being a good student, Gia is a caring and compassionate individual who truly cares about the wellbeing of others. She is a happy child who brings joy to those around her! 

Favorite subjects: Language Arts and PE 

Hobbies and activities: Gia enjoys being outdoors, being creative, reading chapter books, playing piano, staying active, helping in the kitchen and playing with her big brother, Cruz.
