Student of the Week: Eliana Ruiloba

Congratulations to Eliana Ruiloba, a 5th grader at Coronado Elementary School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Eliana:

“As Eliana’s classroom teacher for one and a half years, I can say that she is a respectful and hard-working individual. She can flexibly move from being a focused student, serious about her learning, to being a joyful and caring friend. She joins together academics and social activities, always portraying her true identity. She is honest and genuine.”

Favorite subject:

Eliana’s favorite subject is writing because she is able to express herself.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Eliana’s hobbies are basketball and swimming. She has been in Girl Scouts since kindergarten. Eliana also enjoys talking with her friends and playing tag. With her family, she looks forward to sitting down at the dinner table and telling them about her day.
