Student of the Week Ekasha Saroea, S.Y. Jackson kindergartener

Teacher Bella Chandler says this about her student:
Ekasha is the most joyous, courageous student I have ever had. She tackles every task with confidence and determination, overcoming many difficulties. She is never afraid to try. I genuinely admire this child.

Favorite subject:
Ekasha is learning to read and loves to show off her skills to anyone who will listen.

Hobbies and activities:
Ekasha loves to dance and run. She draws beautiful pictures. Her smile is infectious and she leaves everyone she meets happier than they were.

Verizon Awards $25,000 for STEM Horizon Initiatives
The funding will support STEM projects, specifically those targeting robotics and coding.
