Student of the Week: Cati Alvarado

Congratulations to Cati Alvarado, a 5th grader at Mountain View Elementary, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

What can a parent or teacher say about this student?

Mom:  I’m very proud of her; at home she is very good in everything. I ask her to do something and she does it. She has been that way since kindergarten. She has very good behavior.

Mrs. Trujillo, teacher:  Cati is extremely respectful and polite. She always tries 100%. She loves learning and keeps striving to improve. She is very kind to classmates and very helpful.

Favorite subject:

My favorite subject is math because there is multiplying and dividing.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

I like reading. I also like to exercise. I like to ride my bicycle. I like helping my brothers translate from Spanish to English.
