About Ashanti:

Mom, Maria Thompson says, “Ashanti amazes me everyday. She has been a joy since she was born. She is going to be somebody.” Teacher, Emily Hedges says, “Ashanti is a model student. She excels academically, her behavior is wonderful, and she is always willing to help her classmates.”

What’s your favorite subject?

Writing stories and practicing cursive handwriting.

What are your hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?

At school, Ashanti enjoys jump roping and art projects. At home, she loves to play school, sing, and perform plays for her family.
