Student of the Week: Alex Campbell

5th Grade at Tierra Antigua ES

Congratulations to Alex Campbell, a fifth grader at Tierra Antigua ES, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation!

What can a parent or teacher say about this student? 
Ms. Nancy Dye, Alex’s teacher: Alex is a dedicated and hard-working student. He is always prepared, participates in class, and is a quiet leader. Equally important is the kind of person that Alex is. He is caring, perceptive, generous, and helpful. Always willing to help someone out, he explains, supports, and shares with his classmates in ways that show him to be an exceptional person.

What’s this student’s favorite subject? 
Alex’s favorite subject is math because it is fun.  

What are this student’s hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school?
Alex is a soccer player who plays for Albuquerque United Football Club.
