Student of the Week: Ainsley LeFebre

Congratulations to Ainsley LeFebre, a 1st grader at Mark Twain Elementary School, for being named the Student of the Week by the New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union and the APS Education Foundation.

About Ainsley:

Ainsley always wants to help. She truly enjoys caring for younger students or those with disabilities. According to her teacher Mrs. Garcia-Koren, Ainsley takes the initiative to help her peers within her own classroom and when they are doing inclusion with severely disabled students from the classroom next door. She never has to be asked to help with these special students.

Favorite subjects:

Ainsley really enjoys reading and language arts.

Hobbies or activities, both at school and outside of school:

Ainsley plays soccer, swims, and enjoys playing with her brother, dancing and singing.
