Help teachers raise money for their classrooms through SupportAPS.org.

February 11, 2014

This Valentine's Day, you can show a teacher how much you appreciate them by donating to their classroom through SupportAPS.org, an online giving tool that is putting more resources in the hands of APS teachers.

Since the APS Education Foundation first partnered with SupportAPS.org last year, hundreds of teachers and schools have received donations from their friends, families and supporters through their own online social networks.

The donations are tax deductible, there are no administration fees and the online site is easy and convenient. To give,

  • Search for a school, principal or teacher name
  • Make a donation.

"This is just another option that teachers can use to help raise money for their classrooms," said Phill Casaus, executive director of the APS Education Foundation. "It's an easy way to raise money through Facebook or other social media sites they may already be on."

For more information, or to sign up, go to SupportAPS.org.
