Online Auction to Benefit APS Students, Schools

Bidding for the silent auction, hosted by the APS Education Foundation in conjunction with the annual Superintendent's Cup golf tournament, continues through July 17.

This year, in coordination with the Superintendent’s Cup presented by B&D Industries, the APS Education is hosting an online silent auction to raise more money for its school and classroom grant programs.

Thanks to Concentra, the first silent auction sponsor, the Foundation hopes to raise even more funds as part of the golf tournament this year. Large businesses and small local businesses have thus far donated over $12,000 in goods and services for the online auction that is open for bidding from July 7-17.

The auction is not just for golfers, as anyone can view the auction and create an online account in order bid. The winner does not have to be present at the golf tournament to win lucrative packages that include:

  • handcrafted jewelry donated by Lilly Barrack
  • travel packages to Disneyland and Denver
  • a hot air balloon ride donated by Wells Fargo
  • and much more!

The Foundation will continue to add items to the online auction until July 7. To view the auction, simply visit the online bidding page. Not only is the auction a great way to support student achievement, but some lucky winners may walk away with a smoking deal! The auction will close to bidding on July 17 at 6:30 p.m.
