More than $30,000 in Achieve Awards Granted

The twice-a-year grant process specifically targets student activities or after-school groups at middle and high schools.

The APS Education Foundation just granted more than $30,000 in Achieve Awards to some fine APS clubs, activities and the teachers/sponsors who make them happen.

Congratulations to:

  • Amy Traylor and Katherine Green of Del Norte High
  • Art Gold of Jefferson Middle School
  • Martha Bedeaux of La Cueva
  • Margaret Daugherty of LBJ MIddle School
  • Ranell Cox of Desert Ridge Middle School
  • Rebecca Gardner of Roosevelt Middle School
  • Melani Farmer Buchanan of Washington Middle School
  • Carol Leyendecker of Van Buren Middle School and
  • Darlene Cox of Highland High.

More than $30,000 was allotted to assist students participating in clubs and activities in the district.
