U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt will donate 40 percent of sales to the APS Education Foundation on Thursday, April 25. Make sure to download the flyer or show it on your mobile phone at one of U-Swirl's three Albuquerque locations.

U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt’s three locations have deemed Thursday, April 25, as APS Education Foundation Day.

Download a flyer here and support the Foundation while enjoying a nice spring treat at U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt.

U-Swirl Frozen Yogurt and the APS Education Foundation are partnering on a spring fundraiser that will support APS academic programs. U-Swirl is offering 40 percent of the sales from the day to the Foundation.

The event will take place at all three U-Swirl locations: La Cueva Town Center, 8104 Wyoming Blvd NE; Montgomery Plaza, 5011 Montgomery Blvd NE; and the UNM area, 115 Havard Dr SE.

“The folks at U-Swirl have been fantastic and it’s very apparent they believe in the kids of Albuquerque Public Schools. We’re excited to partner with them now and in the future, because we both know that education is the key to making our community a better place to live,” said Foundation Executive Director Phill Casaus.

To support the event, and print out the flyer, or show it on your smart phone.

U-Swirl allows guests the ultimate choice in frozen yogurt by providing up to 20 non-fat flavors, including tart, traditional and no-sugar options; and more than 60 toppings, including seasonal fresh fruit, sauces, candy and granola. Serve yourself and pay per ounce instead of by the cup size. A place where you can indulge while eating responsibly!

The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that works to benefit APS academic programs, particularly in Literacy, Fine Arts, Middle/High School Activities and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Since the fall of 2010, it has injected about $300,000 into APS classrooms through Horizon Awards, a competitive grant program that places a premium on in-classroom innovation.
