Fall 2018 APS Education Foundation Grants Available

Application deadline for Horizon and Achieve awards is 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24.

The APS Education Foundation is now accepting requests for proposals from all APS elementary, middle or high school staff members, including teachers, educational assistants, librarians, counselors, and social workers for the Fall 2018 Grant Cycle!

Horizon Awards aims to advance student learning in three key areas: STEM, Fine Arts and Literacy. This grant supports all grade levels. All APS employees are invited to apply for up to $1,500 for an individual project targeting a single classroom and up to $5,000 for a team project targeting multiple classrooms.

Achieve Awards provides district-wide funding to APS school clubs and student activities that directly add value to the traditional curriculum. Eligible activities are APS school-sponsored club or activities, such as marching band, education-based field trips and academic competitions. APS Education Foundation will award grants up to $10,000, although please note that funding is limited and large grants will be rare.

Applications for the Horizon Awards and Achieve Awards must be received by 5 p.m. on September 24. If you have questions about applying, please contact Antoinette Wright, Grant Writer and Manager at (505) 880-3708 or
